To ensure efficiency and clarity of our online orders, please read our Online Order Terms and Conditions for refunds, returns, and exchanges carefully as they are designed to provide clarity and ensure a positive shopping experience for you. 

To avoid chargebacks our comprehensive refund, returns and exchange policy is designed to create a transparent and equitable relationship with our customers. By providing clear guidelines for refunds, we aim to empower you with a clear understanding of your rights.

Online Order Terms & Conditions

  • It is up to you to ensure all the details of your purchase are correct before purchasing; this includes (but not limited to) model, size, colour, finish, quantity, and any special requirements.
  • Please select carefully as refunds are not offered for change of mind or incorrect choice. Your online order must be paid in full before we can begin the supply of products to you.
  • Should you have any issue with your product or need to report a problem with your order we request you please contact us via email [email protected]. 
  • In regards to our pieces, please accept each piece is unique and there will be some variance in the colour and size due to the production process. There may also be slight variation in colour between online samples and finished products. 
  • Please ensure that Care Instructions for our products are followed carefully. Returns will not be accepted if product is damaged due to misuse or not following care instructions.


Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

If you need to request a refund, return or exchange we ask that you take the time to read this returns policy.

Returns Policy

Please do not send item(s) back to Domum Homewares without first contacting us. Contact Domum Homewares via:

Included with your request must be the following information:

1. A daytime and after hours contact number.
2. Receipt number OR a copy of your invoice/receipt.
3. A brief description of the fault or issue. 
4. If relevant, a photograph of the product fault 

Please do not return the items by post or courier until we have replied or spoken with you. We have return options that may be easier and more secure than standard return post services.

Returns for Change of Mind

We encourage you to choose carefully from our collection. Remember that we’re always here to help you find the right item and we’re happy to talk to you about what would be best for your home.

Returns for change of mind must be completed within 10 days of the date of shipment. Please note Domum Homewares does not offer a refund for change of mind returns, however we may offer an exchange. The exchange will not include shipping and handling charges, and these charges will be charged at the time of return or deducted from the exchange value should we decide to offer one. The exchange will be issued when the goods are received by Domum Homewares in original condition, including complete, undamaged product packaging where applicable.

While we strive to accommodate such requests, please note that not all items on our website are eligible for exchange, refund, or return. Domum Homewares will not accept the return of items from the following categories for a change of mind return under any circumstances:

  1. Discounted or sale items
  2. Cosmetics, jewellery, soap, personal care products, and fragrances
  3. Bedding
  4. Gift vouchers
  5. Custom/Personalised Products: Items that have been specifically customized or personalized for the customer.
  6. Products Sold as Part of Sets/Bundles: Items sold as part of a set or bundle, where individual items may not be eligible for exchange.
  7. Products with Expiration Dates: Items with a limited shelf life or an expiration date.

*Sale items may still be returned if they are faulty or the product is significantly different from the published sample or description.

Other Returns

At Domum Homewares discretion, we will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund or repair where:

i) the product is faulty or is not of a reasonably acceptable quality; OR
ii) the item is not fit for its intended purpose; OR
iii) the product is significantly different from the published sample or description; AND
iv) you can present your Domum Homewares tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.

Money Refund: Where appropriate we’ll return the cost of the item to the original payment method used for the purchase. 

Partial Refund: In some cases, a partial refund may be provided if only part of the order is returned. 

Line-Item Refund: For items that are part of a larger order, we may issue a refund for the specific item returned. 

Domum Homewares may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s to determine the nature of the problem. Domum Homewares reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse, poor storage or neglect.

Shipping and Deliveries 

Not all parcels are shipped requiring a customer signature upon receipt. You may elect to mark your parcel for ‘Authority to Leave’ with Australia Post, however it is important to note any goods under these consignments will no longer be considered the responsibility of Domum Homewares should they be lost, stolen or damaged upon arrival.

Currently Domum Homewares only ships within Australia. Unfortunately at this present time we cannot accept orders internationally or from outside of Australia.

Cost

All costs for delivery via Australia Post is quoted on our website. Domum Homewares reserve the right to change courier companies and their associated costs prior to full payment being received. 

Delivery Times 

In stock items are normally dispatched within 2 business days.

All items are dispatched using Australia Post by Parcel Post. If you require Express delivery within WA please contact Domum Homewares at [email protected].

Whilst we make every effort to deliver your goods within the time-frame you may have been advised at the time of purchase, product lead times are an estimate only and may change due to circumstances beyond our control. We recommend you contact us if you are in any way concerned about product lead times.

Tracking orders

Orders can be tracked via Australia Post app or website. 

Tracking numbers will be provided at the time of placing your order and once paid in full. 

Damaged items

If their order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately

Cancellation of online orders
In stock items are normally dispatched within 1-2 business days. If you order by credit card your card will be charged at the time of transaction.

We will accept cancellation of your order for items that have not been dispatched.

Once the items are dispatched, no cancellation will be accepted, but you may return the goods to Domum Homewares, however, you will be responsible for ALL shipping & insurance costs to us. Please refer to our Returns Policy.
