To look after your resin homewares a few things need to be done, so that they stay looking new for longer and do not fade, lose their shine or change colour.

• Wash with warm soapy water by hand only
• Do not use abrasive scourers.
• Resin may appear “frosted” after washing and should be rubbed with a drop of any skin safe oil such as coconut, canola or olive oil to restore sheen.

   

Resin is not made to withstand high heat:

• It is not suitable for the dishwasher or oven.
• It is not suitable for hot food, use cold food only.
• Keep your resin pieces out of direct long exposure to sunlight, yellowing and colour change can still occur if left in the sun for long periods of time.
• Although resin pieces are strong and durable they should be treated like ceramic and are not shock-absorbent.
